Week 4 Picks

Went 4/5 AGAIN last week. Thanks for being clutch Nauch and god dammit hurtado win a game. Chuck v Roberto Chuck’s WR core has themselves a day to carry Chuckie to a victory against Roberto’s team. Can’t wait to see these four starting running backs combine for 30 points. Single Erik vs. Nachos The Rams should have sealed Erik’s fate. But Erik’s offense is so high powered I’d never count them out.. except I am lol. I expect a shootout with Nauch winning by another narrow margin. Weege v Joe Another shootout inspired by the events of thursday night football. Weege made great use of his trade, and Joe’s dumb ass started the Rams D lol. Outside of wideouts, though, Joe still has the edge and will survive this upset to keep the undefeated train going. Gio v Hurtado Maybe this is the week Hurtado wins a match instead of bad luck occur- Robert Woods goes off. Lol hey you dodged a bullet with Kirk on the bench. Hurtado still should have a shot to win, but I doubt his team c...

Week 4 Power Rankings

Week 3 is in the books and the balance of power in the league is starting to become apparent. Time goes by so fast, we're already going into the bye weeks which means a real test of depth for our 2-1 and 3-0 teams. Tier 1 (+2)   1 . FITZMAGIC GANG (3-0) W3 Result:  W vs Roberto 172.9 -106.4 Top 3 Scorers:  Fitzmagic (35.1), Thielen (26.5), OBJ (21.9), 48% PF Standing:  1st in Personality, 2nd in PF (477.8) Next Week's Opponent:  Weege (1-2) My Thoughts: As the last undefeated man standing, the highest scorer this week and the number 2 overall, after being ranked the 10th best draft, take your number 1, sir. The strategy of having Joe's players boom in rotation is still working- for christ sake your IDP scored 17 points when Coop once again Pooped. Joe's bench also had only one single-digit and THREE 20-point games. The league awaits one of his classic late-season collapses to derail this hot streak. (-1)   2 . Single Erik (2-1) W3 R...

Wings' Week 3 Sunday Morning Picks

Last Week: 4/5 (weege ur garbage), 4/5 on season Hard Nipples (1-1) v Erik and his Thots (1-1) Erik's gonna have another easy W vs Weege. Both of these guys can enjoy having their football Sundays.. unless girls (or a girl) get in their ways smh. FITZMAGIC GANG (2-0)  v 69ers (0-2) The fact Joe has a cakewalk win makes me suspicious... 2 weeks in and Roberto, who still has Dalvin Cook in his lineup despite being ruled out, is already candidate for Tacoing only 2 weeks in. Roberto, or whichever one of you run his account, needs to get your shit together. #StayWoke Toe Goblin (1-1) v Brown Town (0-2) These two teams really have had it unlucky with the starting RBs, but at least they get to play each other. The Baker Mayfield experience saved Ant from a for sure L, but I still think Jon gets his first win benefitting from Cory Clement outdueling Gio Bernard. #ShootingMyShot Long Dick Style (1-1) vs. SMJ (1-1) Calling this as my upset of the week...

Week 3 Power Rankings

Week 2 brought balance back to week 1 overreactions. Tier 1 (+4)   1. Single Erik (1-1) W2 Result:  W vs Roberto  200 -128.6 Top 3 Scorers:  Big Ben ( 49 ), Kelce (31.9), CMC (29.9), 55% of Points Standing:  1st in Ass and Titties, 1st in PF (363.4) Next Week's Opponent:  Weege (1-1) My Thoughts:  Forgive me for ranking you so low from the start, you are coming out of the gates HOT and also get a tantalizing matchup vs Weege next week. You got just as much opportunity to dominate the league as you do in dynasty where you are 2-0 ;) (+2)  2. Team Slap Ass (2-0) W2 Result: W vs Ant 196.1-111.7 Top 3 Scorers: Cousins (48.5), M. Thomas (30.9), M. Gordon (30.6), 56% of Points Standing: 1st in Personality, 2nd in PF (355.5) Next Week's Opponent: Wings (1-1) My Thoughts: Sorry to snub you of number one again. Despite a perfect record and 1st in division, Erik has looked like the better team. You do get Wentz and Fournette back ...

Sunday Morning Picks

GANG GANG (1-0) v Smoke Screen (1-0) Chuckie's RB superiority and Joe trusting Amari Cooper won't be enough to carry what will be an underwhelming wr performance from Fitz and his ragtag group of high target wideouts. Joe hands his brother an L as we all bust the popcorn out. Hard Nipples (1-0) v Long Dick Style (0-1) Weege cruises to 2-0 as Nauch loses his gamble on streaming Cleveland vs the Saints and Cobb has a big day. Toe Goblin (1-0) v Team Slap Ass (1-0) Anthony's RB injuries come at a poor time vs a high scoring Slap Ass offense- at least Gio had the chance to sub in Fournette's handcuff. Slap ass also joins the 2-0 club. 69ers (0-1) v Single Sexy Erik (0-1) Erik survives a monster game from AJ Green behind an even redder-hot offense and avoids starting 0-2. 3A (0-1) v Brown Town (0-1) Wings bounces back from a piss poor week 1 and capitalizes on Hurtado's defensive implosion to get the upset and send Hurtado into the sh...

Week 2 Power Rankings

Fuck. Tier 1 (+3)  1. Toe Goblin (1-0) Anthony not only was the highest point scorer but also looks the most poised to continue a dominant run. He has good matchups for week two but faces a tough opponent vs. Team Slap Ass.  (-1)  2. Brown Town (0-1) Chuck's about to be pissed but ayy its gonna be funny af lol. A lot went wrong (missed FG, LeSean McCoy playing below an already low floor, a Zach Ertz snoozer) for Jonathan to only lose by two. He should still perform at a high level every week and gets an easy matchup vs me next week (trap game?) (-1) 3. Smoke Screen (1-0) Chuckie is still a power to be reckoned with, of course. Just think he's still the weaker team. He lacks depth in exchange for having a top heavy starting lineup and only has 1 trade to go. Sheer luck and reputation is still on his side but he faces Joe who's off to a stellar start as well. (+1) 4 . Team Slap Ass (1-0) I did say you had the potential to be Tier 1, Gio backed it...

Preseason Trade Mania

Image
A look at the league offices last night. After a relatively quiet preseason with the only trade being that god-awful Nauch/Chuck fiasco, the floodgates exploded the night before the start to the season with 3 high-profile trades. Let's break them down and see what the state of the league is now that the dust has hopefully settled. Any rankings I cite are from the most recent Beer Sheet because fuck you thats why. 1- 4:43PM, A Tale of Two Thomases Long Dick Style took my trashing of his trade in this week's power rankings personally and immediately made moves to bolster his thin RB core, adding the RB15 Drake adds a safety net while we see what RB20 Freeman is capable of. This pickup did come at a price... Team Slap Ass  did indeed give up Drake, but with Gordon, Fournette and a wild card Washington backfield he could definitely afford to give him up in order to upgrade from WR19 DT to the WR5 Michael Thomas. This trade definitely worked out in favor for bot...

POWER RANKING TUESDAYS EPISODE 1- POSTDRAFT/PRESEASON

Image
Booooooyyyyyyyzzzzzz it's power ranking season I apologize extremely for your favorite fantasy sports blogger's absence from the interwebs but unfortunately this hobby doesnt pay the bills for me. These power rankings will take into account all trades/transactions up to when I'm writing this (same day as release ayyyyy lmao) Tier 1: Surefire Contenders 1. Chuck Loves Dick Hurtado usually builds his playoff team on the wire.. so having a championship-caliber team at the draft is a very scary thought for the league. He took the second pick of the draft and did great things with it, focusing on picking up players who will be getting guaranteed volume as the workhorse of their teams. I will say though, these same picks may also be double-edged swords. If Hurtado is to dominate the league in the postseason, when it matters and where he always fails, Hurtado needs the following to happen: DeShaun repeats his stellar start to his career in the NFL before the ACL gods ...
