Week 8 Power Rankings

Apologies to my loyal fans for an incomplete post. Life's crazy. This week's delay in the PR is brought to you once again by Southern California Edison, the corporation for public broadcasting, and viewers like you. Thank you. Lots of movement in the rankings after another nuts week in the league. Rank. Team (W-L) (Strk) (∆) 1. Erik 👑 (5-2) (W1) ( +1 ) -. 2. Gio (4-3) (L2) ( -1 ) -. 3. Nauch (5-2) (W2) ( +2 ) -. 4. Ant (4-3) (W3) ( +2 ) -. 5. Chuck (4-3) (L1) ( -2 ) - 6. Roberto (5-2) (W1) ( -2 ) -. 7. Wings (3-4) (W2) (-) - 8. Joe and 7 ( +2 ) - 9. Alex (3-4) (L2) ( -1 ) - 10. Tottie  (2-5) (L1) ( -1 ) -

Week 7 Power Rankings

What a better way to close the first half of the season by watching the top half of the league take a beating. The playoff race as we enter the second half of the season is virtually anybody's game, although some guys are definitely in better positions than others. This dead heat should make for an interesting second half. Best of luck everyone, a reminder that there are 4 weeks until the deadline. Sorry for the delay. Dragon Ball Super is a good show. Rank. Team (W-L) (Strk) (∆) 1. Gio 👑 (4-2) (L1) ( +1 ) Well he called it. Gio and Erik may have both lost, but at least he still put up the third-highest score (the third such occurrence this season) in the process. While getting rid of Hop was a stellar move, acquiring Mixon in the process has proved to not pay off; Ertz has also looked shaky but still has the ceiling of a TE1. Next week is the fated matchup between the top 2. As Gio also said, the hype is definitely down on this matchup (especially when at the moment Gi...

Week 6 Power Rankings

Apologies for the delays in getting this out. It has not been a wavy time for the champ since getting back from Seattle. I have taken Ls to Alex, the Cactus Jack 6s, and SoCal Edison, just to name a couple things. Not asking for pity here, just your understanding. Anyways, decent amount of movement in the rankings, but the general tiers remain the same, the top 6 are starting to separate from the bottomfeeders. Rank. Team (W-L) (Strk) (∆) Tier 1 - Championship Contenders 1. Erik 👑 (4-1) (W2) ( +1 ) 233.75 points. My PR spreadsheet has you at 2 this week but there's no way I can't not put you at the top after such a performance. This might indeed be the top score in league history- the highest score last season was 214.1, scored Week 11 by none other than Erik. CMC continues to be the single most dominant player in fantasy over the last 2 seasons. Good luck Hurtado ðŸ˜” the Pats D is a painful L to take. Trust me I know. 2. Gio ðŸ¤·‍♂️ (4-1) (W1) ( -1 ) Gio unsur...

Official Statement from the Blog

We here at the anti collusion collusion club recognize what an oppressive commissioner can do to a fantasy football league. With this in mind, we support the people of Hong Kong in their fight against the reprehensible government of China. Just as this league overthrew Emperor Chuckles, we have faith that those in Hong Kong can win their fight. If this blog disappears, you know who is responsible. Fuck China. Fuck Chuck. Power rankings tomorrow.

Way too early playoff picture - Week 4

So, I finally got my first win, and my first thought was "how many more games can I afford to lose this season?" 1-3's a big hole to start the season First, let's look at last year's regular season standings and each team's record week 5 (source: blog): Joe 12-1 (Started 4-0) Erik 9-4 (Started 3-1) Chuck 8-5 (Started 2-2) Hurtado 7-6 (Started 1-3) Wings 7-6 (Started 3-1) Nauch 7-6 (Started 2-2) Ant 6-7 (Started 2-2) Gio 5-8 (Started 2-2) Weege 2-11 (Started 1-3) Roberto 2-11 (Started 0-4) Boiling that down, the magic number was 7 wins to make playoffs as a 6+ seed. We can somewhat guess what each person's chances are at making playoffs moving forward. Obviously every season is different, we got rid of the 7 and 8 seed and the standings are a bit different; personally, I also think the league is more competitive this year than it was last. As we get closer to the end of the season, I can start adjusting expectations better. 3-1 teams ...

Week 5 Power Rankings

The regular season is just about a quarter of the way through and there's a rough feel for where each team stands in the pecking order; and things are starting to look a little top-heavy record-wise. A couple of teams made statement wins (and losses) this week, but overall not much movement in rankings. Four of the top five, however, play each other this week which could greatly shake things up. Rank. Team (W-L) (Strk) (∆) Tier 1 1. Gio 👑👑👑 (3-1) (L1) ( - ) Happy belated Gio, hope you enjoyed the 2 hot steaming Ls I served up for you in both our leagues. Despite the loss and his entire WR squad taking a fat shit, Gio still leads the league in PF (720) and PPG (180) through the first four weeks. Gio should bounce back fine, but Juju is starting to look more and more like a risky play with Mason Rudolph's lack of deep passing. The sting of missing Dalvin may also be starting to set in (it definitely is for me). 2. Erik 👨 🎤 (3-1) (W1) (-) Erik indeed bounced ...
