Week 4 Power Rankings

The one where I eat my words...

Tier 1

1. Gio πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘ (3-0) (-)

Gio not only is the last undefeated team; he also finally got top scorer props and is averaging 197 PPG (1st). He also adds an additional 200 point game to his season, leading Erik, who just has one. 4-0 is gonna be easy with next week's opponent being dead-last in all categories, right?

2. Erik πŸ₯Ί (2-1) (-)

This was a tough loss to take. Erik's team underachieved this week, scoring only 160 points (6th this week, below the average score of 160) and was up against the second-highest scorer of the week. I will say I took pleasure in seeing him lose in a revenge game after doing the same to me week 2. A matchup vs Ant should be a bounce back, but anything is possible..

Tier 2

3. Roberto πŸš† (2-1) (+1)

After a demolition of the defending champion at the hands of Patrick "GOD" Mahomes and Keenan "GOD 2" Allen, my predictions of the Roberto hype train are looking real good. Although after seeing Aaron Jones lose snaps to his backup and Chris Carson fumble again, I'm starting to change my mind on that Joe Mixon trade and who really won. At least Josh Gordon doesn't have to deal with AB. A matchup vs Joe looks very tantalizing.

4. Nauch πŸ– (2-1) (-1)

Nauch's team is looking like last season- very up-and-down from week-to-week; the injury to a key player in the offense just came much earlier. The loss of Barkley hurts Nauch hard, who was 7th in scoring after the star RB went down, yet not all hope is lost. I dig the pickup of Will Dissly, I am a big fan of Big Montana alongside Tyler Lockett. Nauch needs to prove this upcoming week he is not the fraud of yesteryear, and has the perfect matchup to do so. Pray that Gurley finds himself again.

5. Alex πŸ“ˆ (2-1) (+4)

While I may be reeling, I take pride in seeing Alex build a solid team since joining the league, with both drafted players and waiver pickups shining in a week 2 victory to get the 4th-highest score of the week and is continuing to trend upward. He has successfully deployed the 2 TE set and is enjoying great production from every position but RB. This matchup vs Nauch will be super interesting to see which between the two of them is the contender.

6. ChuckπŸš«πŸ‘ΌπŸΌ (2-1) (-1)

Classic Chuck. Talk down on him one week, only to have the Mike Evans/Jameis Winston stack carry him to a win versus the mighty Erik; those two and the Bears defense accounted for 60% of Chuck's 195-point extravaganza. A win is a win, but I need to see more. Chuckie's matchup vs Hurtitties next week will be his "prove-it" game.

7. Ant πŸ’ͺ (1-2) (+2)

Ant showed resilience in the face of the pit of misery. The trade for Russel "QB's ArENt ThAt VAlUabLe" Wilson has paid excellent dividends immediately, with a near 60-burger being served up. Ant was very busy on the trade market this week (even if we don't include the Gallman trade, which was supposedly Sleeper's fault ._.), and has shuffled his team around to give himself a fighting chance after showing some life. Single Erik looms next.

Tier 3

8. Joe πŸ’₯ (0-3) (-1)

J0-3. HAHAHAHAHA YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I had been hoping to use that one all week. Even though this team has been absolutely dumped on to start the season (his opponents have put up an average of 178 points against him), Joe has also yet to have a fantastic performance himself. The Roberto hype train's looks to continue their streak against winless teams.

9. Hurtado 🍭 (1-2) (-1)

Hurtado has also seen wins on the trade market and is set to get Melvin Gordon back next week, with Hill/Green possibly not far along. Although you are doodoo now, he may be doo-dont soon enough.

10. Wings πŸ₯ (0-3) (-4)
